Matthew Dean Metheney, 26, of 248 Silver Maple Court. Martinez, Georgia died unexpectedly Thursday morning April 20, 2000 at Doctors Hospital, Augusta Georgia from injuries he received in an automobile accident. Mr. Metheney was born October 31, 1973 in Mansfield, Ohio and resided in the Augusta, Georgia area for the past 18 months. He was the superintendent of Rocky Branch Golf Club, a member of Ontario United Methodist Church, a graduate of the Ohio State University and served with the United States Air National Guard.
Surviving are his wife, Vonda Neff Olmstead Metheney of Martinez, Georgia; a daughter Miranda Nicole Olmstead of Martinez, Georgia; his mother & step-father, Marcia and Jack Boyd of Ontario, Oh; his father & step-mother, Tom D. & Anita Metheney of Ontario, Oh, two sisters; Melissa E. Metheney of Columbus and Krista E. Metheney of North Canton, Oh; a step-brother, Scott Boyd of Butler, Oh; several special aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
