About	HELBY: Kenneth D. Perry Jr., 59, of Shelby passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. He was born September 18, 1958 in Crestline, Ohio. He was the son of Kenneth "Dale" and Norma (Smith) Perry Sr. Kenneth lived life to the fullest and took every day on full force like a linebacker. He was a 1977 graduate of Ontario High School where he played football and the team was undefeated his senior year. He was a member of the Ontario VFW #7651 Men's Auxiliary. Kenneth was a very patriotic man who appreciated those who served our country. He was a hardworking man and worked as a concrete finisher with Mansfield Cement Flooring, Cedar Bay and Little A Construction. He had many cherished co-workers, Wendell Amstutz, Tim Amstutz, Donny Strine, Jim Stine, Mike Jung, Larry Robinette, Phil Korbas and many others. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and beloved son. He enjoyed spending time with family, being outdoors, hunting, and walleye fishing at Lake Erie. He was a huge Buckeye Fan. He is survived by his wife, Tammy (Applegate) Perry; his sons, Jason (Tiffany) Perry, Joshua (Jennifer) Perry, Chris (Lanisha) Clapper; a daughter, Carley Hamilton; grandchildren, Kaleb Rinehart, Landen, Ayden, Joy, Hope, and Joel Perry, Shiloh and Elijah Perry, Kaleb, Cayden, and Caliyah Clapper, and Cayley and Bryley Bryden, and London Hamilton; his mother, Norma (Smith) Perry; brothers, Randy (Donnie) Perry and Doug (Cheryl) Perry; mother of his children Josh and Jason, Rhonda Charlton-Evans; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth "Dale" Perry Sr., a good friend, Tim Romoser "Big Red"; and an infant daughter.
