About Me	I joined the Navy for 4 1/2 years. After I got out I served a 2 year, full time mission in Hartford, Connecticut, for my church. Next I went to Brigham Young University, where I got my BS in Horticulture, with an Agriculture Business emphasis, and a Minor in Business. I joined ROTC. I also found my best friend and wife, Jen who was an Art student at BYU. We had our first daughter and were expecting our 2nd when we graduated, and I got my commission as an Officer. Immediately we left for 1 1/2 years of flight school in AL where I was trained to fly the Apache Helicopter. Next we moved to NC for 4 years. During that time I was deployed twice to Afghanistan and once to Iraq. At the time we left for our next duty station in AZ we had added 2 more daughters and were expecting our first son! In AZ I was trained to fly airplanes. One year later I moved to TX where I now live and fly planes for the Army. Right now our missions do not go to Iraq, so it has been a nice place to settle down a little. We also bought our firs...(read more)
