Dear Supporter of Okemos Schools: Each year hundreds of student athletes in Okemos take advantage of the opportunities provided by participating in competitive athletics, including learning life skills such as leadership, teamwork, and discipline. As our District’s budget has tightened, additional revenues are needed to ensure athletics in Okemos survive. Our current mandate is to provide ALL of the necessities, including all uniforms, equipment, and supplies. We would like to invite you in supporting Chieftain Athletics by joining us at this year’s annual winter fundraising event: “Then & Now, Always A Chieftain” Spartan Stadium (Huntington Club) Saturday, March 9, 2013 7:00 pm to Midnight Admission is $40 Join this community celebration of Okemos Athletic Tradition, including food, cocktails, music, silent auction and more! Wear your favorite vintage gear, or the latest in maroon & white fashion. All are welcome! Join the party! To pay by credit card, register online at www.okemosboosters.org. Sponsorship packages are available online as well. The Okemos Boosters is a volunteer organization; proceeds will go to directly benefit Athletic Programs in Okemos.
