About Me	Following graduation from Oakcrest I I wanted to become an academic psychologist, so I went on to complete my BA in psychology from Stockton and then moved to Long Island, NY to complete my Master's degree and PhD. I finished in 1998 and got married the following year. My exhusband and I had our only child, Christopher, in 2000 and divorced in 2003. Shortly before my divorce I moved to Panana City, FL to work at Florida State University as an Assistant Professor of Psychology and have been here ever since. In addition to helping my son, my new passion is restoring an old sports call I bought last year (a 1990 300ZX) as well as home improvement projects. Life has been full of challenges since my son is profoundly autistic and I'm on my own. But, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger I suppose. A bout with bladder cancer in the Fall of 2006 reminded me life really is short and you need to enjoy it while you are on this earth.
