About Me	I had my son in 1983. I was married in 1988 and had my daughter in 1991. I got caught up with the way life was suppose to be like. I spent 25 years as a secretary and then a communications operator for the Division of Gaming Enforcement (State of NJ) and was able to retire early. I divorced in 2007. In 2010, I opened my eyes to change and focused on retiring in 2013. I met my boyfriend in 2010 and we have been on one heck of a journey ever since. We decided we wanted to live out West where he is from and instead, we bought property and currently live in Western NC where we care for our many rescued animals...dogs cats, pig, donkey, horses and maintain a wildlife habitat all by living off grid and working toward being self sustainable, leaving less of a footprint as we go. We both love the outdoors and being in nature where it is peaceful and away from stress. When you find out you have an autoimmune disease it wakes you up.
