Stephen Brothers
Class of 1972
In 1972 Stephen (Steve) R. Brothers graduated NNCS. He claims he was mediocre student at best but loved his time in Track and Field and Cross Country Running. In 1973 He attended Canton ATC but dropped out in 1974 to take a job In Watertown NY. He completed his education as a part time student at Jefferson Community College in Watertown. IN 1976 Steve joined the Watertown Police Department. For the next 23 years Steve moved up through the ranks from Officer to Sergeant to Lieutenant to Captain and finally to Police Chef. During his time as a Police Officer he was sent to Quantico and graduated the National FBI Academy. In January of 2000 he retired from the Police Department and moved to Virginia where he took a position as head of security for Verison Internet Security. In 2002 He obtained a US Government Top Secret Security Clarence and went to work at a large top secret government facility. He moved up through the ranks there to achieve the position as Captain of The Guard. Unfortunately, due to illness, he was forced to retire again in 2009 and has moved back to the North Country.
