About	Lester Long Obituary Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 8, 2018. Lester "Les" H. Long, 70, of Colorado Springs, passed away March 5, 2018. He was born in Norwood, New York on February 25, 1948. Les graduated from Norwood Norfolk Central High School. He had a career for 22 years in the United State Army and retired as a First Sergeant. The he worked for 23 years for the United States Postal Service before retiring in 2014. Les is survived by Sang, his children Ian ("Dale") E. Long (Celeste) and Thomas Long (Rebecca), his grandchildren Benjamin, Seth, Emma, Wylan, Austin, and Cassandra, and two sisters Cynthia and Sandy. He was preceded in death by two sisters Susan and Sherry. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 11am at Dove Witt Family Mortuary.
