| About Me | Acted, Directed, and Advised in various stage productions at Bob Jones University from 1969-1983. Licensed as a Free Presbyterian minister in 1985. Began conducting services in Phoenix Free Presbyterian Church in 1986. Conducted a radio ministry in Phoenix from 1989-2000. Ordained as a Free Presbyterian minister in 1995 with Ian Paisley presiding. Elected as Deputy Moderator of the Standing Commission of the Presbytery for North America in 1997, and became Moderator in 1999. Elected Moderator of the Presbytery in 2006 and re-elected in 2007. Elected Clerk of the Presbytery in 2008. Elected to the Executive Committee of the American Council of Christian Churches in 2007. Elected as Vice-President of the ACCC in 2012. Elected as President of the ACCC in 2016. Appointed as an adjunct professor of church history and practical theology for Geneva Reformed Seminary in 1995. Appointed to the Board of Directors for Arrowhead Ranch Phase II Homeowners Association in 2009 and elected Vice-President of the Board in 2011 and elected President of the Board in 2012. Retired from the Board in 2017. Married Mary Saylor of Kankakee, Illinois in 1975. Carolyn Ann was born in 1979. She married Steve Rohrer of San Diego, CA in 2002. Emma Grace was born in 2005, Kate Elizabeth in 2008, Molly Alyse in 2010, and Luke Stephen in 2016. Mary retired as Administrative Assistant to the director of Wastewater Management in the Water Services Department of the City of Phoenix on December 19, 2014, after 29 years of service. Mary began working for Transcription Express in January 2015 and retired from that job on September 15, 2020. Have traveled numerous times in eastern and western Canada and several times to Europe, principally the United Kingdom, most recently in January 2019. Retired from Presbytery office and committee responsibilities in May 2021. Retired from the pastorate at the end of June 2021 after 35 years and 4 months of service.
