Ronald Eugene Wilbert, 77, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Coffman Nursing Home in Hagerstown, MD. Born Thursday, March 12, 1942 in Louisville, KY, he was the son of the late Robert Kenneth Wilbert and Aldean Elizabeth (Matthews) Wilbert. He was a graduate of Northwood High School in Silver Spring, MD.
Ronald was a school bus driver for many years retiring from Montgomery County Public schools. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a huge Washington Redskins Fan. He enjoyed playing cards with his buddies and cooking for family and friends. Ronald is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia V. (Phebus) Wilbert whom he married September 22, 1962, daughters, Tammy Potter and husband Tom, Elaine Wyatt and husband Rick and Mary Nee and husband Brad, brothers, Carl Wilbert and wife Judy and Wayne Harley and wife Stacy, grandchildren, James, Amanda, Jamie, J.T., Randy, Alex, Mark and Martin, great-grandchildren, Landon, Gabriel, Aubrey and Easton and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Wilbert.
