ANDREA GAMBLE SALL
Andrea Gamble Sall, cherished and beloved wife of Richard K. Sall, MD, passed away on January 9, 2017 at age 69, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by family and friends, after a heroic two year struggle with breast cancer and leukemia. She overcame multiple life-threatening adversities during her brave journey. She was a 1965 graduate of Northwood High School in Silver Spring Md., and earned her BSN from Boston University in 1969. As a Registered Nurse for nearly 50 years she dedicated her life to helping others in multiple clinical and administrative roles. She was renowned for her gardening and landscaping skills, and was a passionate advocate for prevention of cruelty to animals. She is survived by her husband, and blood relatives to include her brother, Brian Gamble and sister-in- law, Fran of Rockville, MD; nieces, Lauren Gamble of Mt Airy MD, Jackie Gamble of Washington, DC; nephew, Steven Gamble of Baltimore, MD and cousins, Michael Shpur of Aspen Hill, MD, Carolyn Cuthrell of Williamsburg, VA, Steven Frasher of Woodbridge, VA, Cathy Frasher of Jacksonville FL, and Susan Jenkins of Marion, OH. No formal service is planned. Donations if desired are to be directed to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
