The Hubert V. Simmons Museum of Negro Leagues Baseball, Inc.
My name is Audrey L. Simmons. I am the widow of "Bert" Simmons who was Head of the Business Department prior to his retirement in 1983. I heard just today through others that there is an athletic field at Northwestern that is named after Mr. Simmons. I think that is wonderful and I am sorry no one with the museum had any information about the field. I would like very much to have everyone at Northwestern to know about the museum and to visit our website at www.smnlbinc.org

School Ring Class of 1984 - Found
I found a School Ring and its engraved with Ron P. Allen, for the class of 1984.
I am not an alumni of Northwestern, however I would very much like to locate the owner of the ring.

We regret the passing of Kim Spence, Class of 1983. Ms. Spence passed away, September 25, 2012, due to a lengthy illness of Lupus.

Greenhouse renovation
We are forming the "Friends of the Greenhouse" to resurrect a Green Track at NW. The committee so far includes Principal J. Hartling, Science Teacher Keely Bresford,
Principal Plant Biologist and retired Professor Phil Filner and Chief Project Nudge Miriam Winder Kelly.
If you worked in the greeenhouse as a teacher or student, let us know what it used to be like. Do you want to volunteer to work with the students or donate goods or services?
