About	I sincerely regret to inform you that another of our much loved alumni is no longer with us. Jenifer Jeanette Davis transitioned to her Heavenly home on January 21, 2021. Mrs. Jenifer Jenette Davis-Lacy was born on April 23, 1952 to Mary Elizabeth Davis (Memphis) and Albert Daniel Davis (Arkansas) in Memphis, TN who proceeded her in death. After the death of her parents, she was cared for by her grandmother, Lucy Howell. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Columbus Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from Northside High School in 1970. She married her teenage sweetheart, Larry E. Lacy Sr. They gave birth to 1 son: Larry E. Lacy Jr. and 1 daughter in love Wanda Alsobrook (Antonio) of Memphis, TN. She also had 2 daughter in-laws: Juaquavea Lacy (Larry Jr) and Tonya Brown (Brian) of Memphis, TN. Jenifer loved and adored her grandchildren. 1 proceeded her in death: Terrance E. Lacy. She leaves behind her granddaughters: Trinica Lacy (Jason) of Memphis, Brittney Miles of Goodyear, AZ, Bria Lacy of Memphis, TN, 4 grandsons: Donnavent Baker and Larry D. Lacy of Memphis, TN, and Dunte Baker (Sydney) of Arlington,VA, Brandon Ray and one great-granddaughter: Trinity Brooks(Jason & Trinica) , 2 Godchildren: Robert Carson (Angelica) of San Diego, CA and Victoria McBride (Edward) of Memphis, TN. On January 21, 2021, Jenifer transitioned comfortably at home. She leaves behind 3 siblings: Albert Davis (Carolyn) of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Carolyn Delores Floyd of Chicago, IL, and Barbara Clemons of Springhill, FL, 3 brother in- laws: Leon, Freddie, and Stanley Lacy of Memphis, TN, 2 sister in-laws: Joyce Woodard (Mike) and Billie Lacy of Memphis, TN, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
