| About Me | I was working for Franklin County Veterans Service Commission. I was there for fifteen years. Until I had to go out on disability. That was the best job that I ever had. I enjoyed the job everyday. No two veterans have the same problem. I was an investigator when I left. I started as a Clerk and worked my way up. I had to fight to get the Investigator job because all of the men in the office thought that a female could not do homevisits. I proved them all wrong. In fact I was told by the director before I left that I had really done a grreat job as an Investigator and that I had proved him for one wrong. He stated that he did not think that I could do the job. I miss that job still today. I have not worked since April 2004. Prior to that job I worked two years for the Advertising Checking Bureau for two years. Prior to that I worked for DCSC for ten years. They told me that I was not qualified for a job. Then I was told to train the new person. I said I thought that I could not do the job? So I left the day the new person started.
