North Shore Class of 67, gold ring with amber cut stone

gold setting , garnet oval stone, class of '69 women's size I believe was 6 , maybe 7.
I think it may have come off in the A&S in Manhasset , where I worked in 1969 or 1970. Perhaps flew off into a bag given to a customer on checkout, or on the floor.
