About	Ft. McCoy- Stephen Jacob Roberson 18, of Ft. McCoy, died Friday, August 17, 2007 in Dixie County due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in St. Augustine and had been a resident of Ft. McCoy for the past six years, coming from Interlachen. He was a 2007 graduate of North Marion High School where he played football and was in the R.O.T.C. He had attended Forest Baptist Church in Hog Valley and had formerly attended the St. John Catholic Church in Interlachen. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and county music. He loved his family and his mom and dad loved him very much. He was a good kid and was a "good ole boy". He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Clarence Woods, Jr.; his paternal grandfather, David Ellis; and an aunt, Madeline Mary Woods Matthews. He is survived by his parents, William and Miriam Roberson of Ft. McCoy; his maternal grandmother, Frances Anne Woods of St. Augustine; his paternal grandmother, Nora Virginia Roberson of Tulsa, OK; three brothers, Lucas Jordan Simmons of Manchester, NH., David Lee Roberson and Samuel Adam Roberson both of Gainesville; a special friend, Chris Judd of Eureka; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. Calling hours will begin 9 a.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at the Masters Funeral Home in Palatka. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
