Born to Major Leonard Sr., and the late Nancilla Brown Norman; she was a graduate of North Marion High School, later studying Health Related Occupations at the University of Florida. She worked as a Resident Advocate for Marion-Citrus Mental Health. A sweet person with kind words and a smile for everyone, Nerissa leaves to cherish her memories; a loving husband, Mitchell Poole, Sr., step-son, Mitchell Poole, Jr., three sisters; Wanda (Tony) Bennett of Reddick; Fran (Sammy) Crawford of Jacksonville, FL and Vanessa (Willie) Robinson, Ocala, FL; three brothers; Isaiah Norman and Major Norman, Jr., of Ocala, FL, Waymond (Karen) Norman of Altamonte Springs, FL; five nieces, Nakesha, Amber, Phyllesha, Ashleigh and Jasmine; eight nephews; Brandon, Anthony, Paul Jonathan, Adrian, Chris, Sam and DeMontrel; aunts Sadie Rogers and Rozella Poole; a host of sorrowing family and friends
