About	Ocala - Jan Taylor Hirst, 53, passed away December 8, 2016 Jan was born October 18, 1963, in Leesburg, Florida. She attended North Marion High School, Central Florida Community College, and Pensacola Junior College. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 34 years, David Hirst; mother, Roslyn Helseth; daughter, Megan Lefebvre; and precious poodle, Igy. She will be remembered for her love of and entrepreneurship in the dog industry including her grooming shop 'Jan's Grooming' in Palatka, boarding kennel 'Camp Sleepy Hollow' in Belleview, countless champion show dogs, and breeding of some of the top producing dogs in the country. With her kind heart and big smile she has touched many lives and will live on through those that love her and were loved by her. Her memorial service and celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11:00am at Salt Springs Baptist Church.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Humane Society of Marion County- thehsmc.org or the American Bouvier Rescue League - abrl.org, both organizations in which she was involved with and cared about
