Proud to have served 1957-1960 with a duty station at Iwakuni, Japan with the Marine Air Wing. Always said that while we were on duty 1957-1960 the bad guys looked around and said "Wow, look who is guarding against us", and were afraid to start anything.

I entered the military (Marines) in 1972 during Vietnam. Due to an explosion I was not able remain. So I applied for a waver to the Army and was accepted in 1979. I retired in 1996. I have traveled to all four corners of the earth. There were some great times, but also the worse of times. But now that I am retired from the military it was all worth it. And I receive my North High Diploma in 2005. I had already received my GED and went on to Collage while on active duty.
