Cuentin Smith - Denicki
Class of 1996
Grandson of a farmer and son of a butcher, Cue-Elijah Denicki was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. However, life had a different plan for him. Through his 4yrs of high school he found love in creative writing, which led him to write his high school play A Lover Trade. Living in NYC he learned the meaning of competition and survival. After being homeless for a year Denicki reverted back to his creative writing where he wrote poetry about everything he had went through leading him to write a Jazz/Blues song Living for the City which won the International Library of Poetry Editors Choice Award. This inspired him to take class to learn more about the music industry, song writing, managing, and producing. More song @ myspace.com/denicki
