Born in Centerville, IA on October 5, 1947, and moved to Des Moines at about the age of 10. He enjoyed time with his family, and had a strong passion for NASCAR racing, especially cheering for one of his favorites, Karl Edwards.
Survived by his mother, Marge; brothers, Joseph L. and James David "JD"; and nephews. Predeceased by his father, Pearl Edward Vincent.
