He graduated from Univ. of Iowa College of Law in 1977. He joined the family law firm of Morris & Morris, serving clients through Iowa's oldest African-American family owned business, found in 1919. He served for 11 years as Asst. Polk County Attorney. He is survived by his wife, Linnea; his mother, Arlene Roberts-Morris; brothers William and Robert Morris; a niece and nephews His life was dedicated to legal and public service.
