She served in the Navy during the Vietnam conflict. She was a teacher and had been at the Elkhorn campus of Metropolitan Community College for the last three years. Survived by her fiancé, Richard Linhart; daughters Sarah Tomasek and Mary Davis; son Justin Nimmo; her parents, Jack & Betty Mason; sisters Nancy Mason, Mary Werly and Joanne Herold, and brother Jim Mason. She was preceded in death by her younger sister, Roberta Gray.
