Earned a B.S. degree in English from Northeast State University in Kirksville, MO, and was a self-employed home repairman for five years. Survived by his daughter, Angie M. Kreeger; and son, Jay W. Kreeger, both of Kansas City, MO; four brothers and one sister. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Aaron M. Kreeger; and brother David Kreeger.
