Injuries suffered in car accident. He was born in Munich, Germany and moved to Des Moines in 1952. He was a salesman for Perishable Distributors of Iowa.

Linda Wynn '69 said:
David was best friend of my brother growing up. He spent many hours at our home. We were privileged to know this family and the history. Other siblings were best friends of our family also. I was shocked and saddened when I first heard and continue to be even now.
