About	Jason Andrew Jackson, son of Raymond and Jolene (Leib) Jackson, was born on November 16, 1977 in Des Moines, Iowa. He passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2009, in Newark, New Jersey, at the age of 31 years, 11 months from complications of a stroke. Jason graduated from North High School in May 1996. Jason never married, but he lived and worked in New York City and New Jersey. He loved doing carpentry work and working on house interiors in his spare time as he was very creative in these areas. He was a waiter at a few restaurants in New York City, most recently at Serendipity Restaurant. Jason is survived by his parents; his brother Scott and wife Dawn, nieces Rebecca, Lindsey and Courtney, nephews Christopher and Matthew of Bondurant; his partner Dennis Sepulvada of Maplewood, New Jersey; his grandmother Helen Leib of Allerton, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jason was preceeded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Myrtle Jackson, grandfather Eugene Leib, three uncles, one aunt, and one cousin. Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 6th at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Burial was in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Des Moines. Visitation was held on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Jason.
