He and someone else work for North High in Des Moines, Iowa for the longest employee as a wood shop teacher and was charge of Lights and Stage Crew

Mr. Parsons is the reason I became a Union Carpenter. He knew college was out of the question for me and he gave me an application for the Apprenticeship program the Union has-a four year comprehensive education towards the Journeyman's Certificate. I'd encourage anyone interested in construction to apply; it's true that the Carpenter is 'first on the jobsite (project layout) and last to leave. I regret not looking him up and thanking him for his guidance, but if any of his family see this, know that I am grateful for his advice and teaching.
