1992- 1994 served as a boatswain's mate third class on the USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63). Proudly served in Somalia & the Persian Gulf supporting "Operation Restore Hope".
1994- 1996 served in the US Naval Reserve with the Amphibious Construction Battalion (Phib CB 1).

USS Saratoga, USS Forrestal, USS John F Kennedy (twice), USS Dwight D. Eisehower and USS Carl Vinson. 6 Deployment to Europe and 3 to the Middle East. Involved in first Gulf War and was aboard the first carrier to attack Afghanistan after 9-11. I have visited The Eiffel Tower, Leaning tower of Pisa, The Great Pyramids and the Mediterranean Sea during the summer vacation season. Around the U.S. I have traveled to 37 states including Hawaii.
A very entertaining/arduous lifestyle, building weapons and weapon systems, while meeting people we were out there to protect. We met various ethnic backgrounds and lifestyles. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Retired from Active Duty Aug 2002.
