To be held at Denise Oldenburgs Camp on Lake Sebasticook in Newport. There will be a party boat for those who would like to take a memory trip around the lake. There is another camp that Wanda (Gipson} Cyr has rented for those who may need a place to stay for a small fee, to help cover the cost. $10.00 per person to cover food and supplies. BYOB, water and soda will be available. Please pass the word, trying our best to get the word out. There will be a Nokomis Class of '76 40th reunion at the Palmyra Community Center (formerly Palmyra School) on August 6, 2016, from 1 to 4 pm. It will be an old fashion pot luck....bring a place setting for you and your guest, a dish to share and a tablecloth if you have a spare. This is going to be a true "pot luck." Oh yes, and be sure to bring your stories and memories!!!!! Can you believe it has been 40 years??
If you cannot make it that afternoon, there is going to be a full Nokomis Alumni Evening at the same venue from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. See that event for details!

It is with deep regret that I inform you the class reunion has been changed from meeting at Gov's in a private ballroom to "everyone who can make it-redirect your GPS and meet at Millennium on the same evening, as a part of the Nokomis Alumni event." Despite directly contacting 125+ of the 148 in the graduating class, many on multiple occasions over 7 months-there were only 18 classmates who were willing/able to come to the reunion in Waterville. IT IS WITH DEEP GRATITUDE THAT I THANK EACH WHO WORKED WITH ME ON THIS 'COMMITTEE' TO TRY AND PULL THIS OFF. Sometimes, things don't work out. This is one of those times. Not for a lack of effort, but because people just can't make it for one reason or another, or are not interested.. or for some reason planned to show up, but did not RSVP (meaning we can't order food etc)....next time..

Bring a picnic lunch for you and your family. May want to bring lawn chairs/blankets as well. We will have some activities for everyone at the ball field....If you have softball/baseball gloves please bring as well.
