I served a little more than 30 years, total, made up as follows: 12-1/3 years' active duty, in missiles and electronics; then reserves, 18-1/3 years, in missiles, then commissioned, in intelligence. I retired in 1986 as a lieutenant commander.

I served with the US Army 7 and half years, traveled in Europe and the US and enjoyed meeting alot of people from all over and enjoyed my service time. I was on the E-6 promotion list for over two years when I decided to enjoy the civilliam world and stay pretty much in one place, the one great benefit I received was meeting my Husband of 25 years!
