About Me	God blessed me with an amazing family, and a near perfect life. i've been very happily married to David Taylor since December 31, 1994. David is the love of my life, my best friend, the person I can always count on. He's also the most amazing father. He has always been very supportive of our 3 children in each, and endeavor they went after. He helped build pine wood derby cars, went camping with boy scouts, was the chaperone on way to many weekly camping trips for all 3 kids class trips. God Bless him. He knew I wasn't the camping type. He'd always bring the kids dozens of Krispy Kreme donuts the day they left, which resulted in dozens of Thank You notes. He did hours of home work, typed out many paper after the kids went to bed. Did hours of research, and the list goes on. I can always count on him to be beside me, to catch me when I fall, and to laugh with me when life is funny. Although I thought I'd still be working, and that I'd have finished up that last year of school, that wasn't Gods' plan for me. The past 13 years have been a challenge in patience, humility, humor, and faith. Even though my life hasn't turned out exactly the way I thought I wanted it to, it's exactly how it should be. I have 3 of the best kids who have filled my life with so much joy, and made me so very proud to be their Mom. They're all very intelligent, with GREAT work ethics. They're thoughtful and kind. I consider the part I had in raising them to be one of the greatest joys in my life. They are a pleasures, and I consider being their Mom one of my greatest accomplishments. I'm blessed to have a very close, loving caring family, and good friends who are my family by choice. I can honestly say that the love I have with my family isn't shared by many families. I am a Christian, and I feel that my relationship with the Lord is personal. I also believe that everyone is entitled to their beliefs, and I am respectful of that. I grew up in NY, moving to TN when I was a teenager. NY will always be my home. I love to listen to most music, sing in the shower and car. I love to bake anything sweets, cookies and cakes, especially cheesecake. I love to crochet, paint and read, and watch funny TV and movies. I always enjoyed running, and serious aerobic exercise before Lupus and Fibromyalgia showed up. I'm trying to make the effort to get back on the horse, so to speak, Pilate's is by far the exercise I love most. A few goals I'd like to accomplish before I leave this spot on earth: completing a half marathon, walking it, but still want that personal satisfaction. I'd love to give guitar lessons another try. I took lessons for about 5 months, but I couldn't get it then, would love to play it though, It's worth another try. And, I would love to go on another trip to Europe, and take David with me. It's such a beautiful, and interesting place to go. There's so much history there, and so many beautiful, buildings, and art to see. I love Europe!!! Lastly, I'd love to go on some backpacking, and camping trips in the Smokey Mountains, and spots along the Blueridge Mountains, and maybe a camping trip to the beach, just Dave and me. I'm making out a bucket list; watch out world, I'm coming!!! Thomas is the only kid left at home, and as much as I love him, I cannot wait until Dave and I have the house to ourselves. I'm looking forward to the day I have grandchildren too. But, I'm glad to wait patiently until my kids are ready. So, this is piece o...(read more)
