About	Patricia M. Obermeyer Smith, of Cornwall, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Cornwall Campus. She was 61. Daughter of the late John F. Obermeyer and Mary R. Cunningham Obermeyer, she was born on May 12, 1948 in Cornwall. Pat was a 1966 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy and was a bookkeeper for Gallagher's Truck Center in Newburgh. She is survived by her loving children: Helene Schultz of Washingtonville and Tricia Smith of Poughkeepsie; companion, Paul Horaz; grandchildren: Samuel Schultz, Cenedra Halsey and Kahlaya McAlphin; brothers: Michael, Carl, John and Denis Obermeyer; sisters: Teresa Svetich, Marie Marshall and Kathy Heidmann; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Joan Acquaro and Alice Obermeyer. Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 1, at St. Mary's Church, Newburgh.
