About	Rita Ann Mauchline, of New Windsor, entered into rest on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, Newburgh. She was 70. Daughter of the late Frank and Mary Rose Monahan Burczik, she was born on January 9, 1939 in Newburgh. She was married to the late Robert Mauchline, Sr. Rita graduated from Newburgh Free Academy. "Rita was a loving mother and will always be "Nana Bootsie" to her grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She will be remembered fondly for her feisty personality." She is survived by her loving children: Elaine Curcio and her husband, Anthony of New Windsor, Jacqueline Mauchline of New Windsor, and Donald Mauchline and his wife, Leslie of Cornwall; grandchildren: Danielle Williams and her husband, Erron of Beacon, Dara Pettine of N. Bay Village, FL, Nicolette Curcio of New Windsor, Haley Mauchline and David Mauchline of Cornwall, Jake Mauchline and Joel Mauchline of Indiana; great-grandchildren, Erron and Kyla Williams of Beacon; and cousin, Lorraine Herring. In addition to her husband, Robert Sr., she was predeceased by her son, Robert Mauchline, Jr. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A funeral service will take place at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rita's memory may be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Ct., Newburgh, NY 12550.
