| About | John David Crawford of Pine Bush, a factory worker for Tarkett for 34 years and a lifelong resident of the area, died on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at home. He was 58. The son of the late Frank and Veronica Hedrick Crawford, he was born on September 14, 1950 in Newburgh, NY. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. A family statement reads: "He was the sweetest man on Earth and never hurt a soul." Survivors include his wife, Helen Kane Crawford at home; his children: Veronica Mock, John Crawford and Paul Crawford; grandchildren: Christopher, Sebastian, and Megan Mock; his brothers: Frank Crawford and family, Dennis and Walt Lambert. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, May 9, from 10-11 a.m. at the DeWitt Funeral Home, 64 Center St., Pine Bush, NY. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev.
