About	Gaythaniel Lawrence Maise, 38, of Acworth, GA, formerly of Newburgh, NY, a System Analyst for RPS World Pay, Atlanta, GA, died May 1, 2009 at Northside Hospital, Atlanta, GA. The son of Gaythaniel Powell and Layna Maise, he was born September 17, 1970 in Newburgh, NY. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Lashondia Laster Maise at home; two sons, Navaughn Maise of Beacon, NY and Myles Maise of Acworth, GA; sister, Sierra Maise of Wappingers Falls, NY; two brothers, Isaiah Steward of Seattle, WA and Chanon Powell of Newburgh; sister, Fanchon Maise of Newburgh; aunts, Rose Ray and husband, James of New Windsor, Patricia Maise, Margie Cureton and husband, William, and Lolita "Neat" Powell all of Newburgh; uncle, Bernard Maise and wife, Nancy of Newburgh; three nieces: Alyse Maise, Shanae Conner, and Chanycia Powell; two nephews, Daekwan Patterson and Deon Patterson all of Newburgh; and special cousin, Daryl Maise of Newburgh; host of cousins, other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Wilmer and Litres Powell; maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Luvant Maise; two uncles, James "Jimmy" Powell and Lawrence "Larry" Maise. Visitation will be Friday, May 8, from 10-11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, 1524 Route 300, Newburgh. Service will be held at 11 a.m. at the church.
