About	Victoria H. "Vickie" Wheeler of Brooklyn, NY, formerly of Newburgh, NY, entered into rest on Friday, April 10, 2009 at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She was 39. The daughter of the late Louisa Mae Wheeler, she was born January 4, 1970 in Newburgh, NY. Vickie was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy, Class of 1988. She attended Marist College and earned a degree in paralegal studies. Survivors include her daughter, Essence T. Powell; brother, Eric Wheeler of Kentucky; six uncles: Boice Wheeler Jr., Eugene Wheeler and Joseph Wheeler, all of Newburgh, Kevin Wheeler and his wife, Heather of Ellenville, NY, and Ronald Strother and his wife, Darlene of Newburgh, NY; aunt, Kim Daphney and her husband, Edward of Ellenville, NY; stepfather, Roger Williams of Milwaukee, WI; great uncle, Johnell Wheeler of Poughkeepsie, NY; nephew, Jahbral Wheeler of Kentucky, and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her mother, she is predeceased by her grandfather, Boice Wheeler Sr.; grandmother, Anna Mae Wheeler, and aunt, Launia Wheeler. Memorial Services will be held at 12 noon, Tuesday, April 28, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 76 First St., Newburgh, NY, with The Rev. Harry L. Brown, Jr. officiating.
