About	Matthew Rodriguez Jr. of Newburgh, a quality engineer for Hollinee LLC of New Windsor and an employee of North End Deli in Newburgh, entered into rest Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001, at Westchester Medical Center. He was 32. The son of Mateo Heredia Rodriguez and Aracelis Rivera Rodriguez, he was born Dec. 19, 1968, in Newburgh. He was a member of the Local Republican Committee and the Citizens Advisory Board of Newburgh. Survivors include his parents, at home; one sister, Naomi Asher and her husband Louis of the Town of Newburgh; two nieces, Raquel and Gabrielle; one nephew, Jonathan; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his loving menagerie of dogs. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 18, at the Doulin Newburgh Funeral Home Inc., 318 N. Montgomery St., Newburgh. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 18, at the funeral home. The Rev. Carlos Lantis will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Newburgh.
