About	Gruber, James James Gruber died at home in New York City, N.Y. on August 20, 2005 after a long illness. Beloved son of Rosalie Amato and the late Adolph Gruber, James was born on August 24, 1964 and was a former longtime Newburgh resident. Devoted brother of Michele and John of New York City, Jennie and Robert of Newburgh, Adam of Edison, N.J. and Lucy of Baton Rouge, La. and the late Karen and Sky. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting will be at the Chas Peter Nagel Funeral Home, 352 87th St., New York, N.Y. on Wednesday, August 24 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held St. Josephs Church at 10 a.m on Thursday.
