| About Me | I joined the Army Reserve and started X-ray school before I graduated I got called to active duity for DesertStorm that lasted 1 year. The day before I left I got married at the Friendly's that was on the North Causway N.S.B. My boss put it together for me. After I returned home N.S.B. I challenged the National Registry of Radiologic Technology to take my Boards (since I did not graduate) I recieved my license and worked at Halifax for 5 years in x-ray then in MRI.I moved with the same group of Radiologists to their out patient imaging center and have helped them open 4 others. I am the chief tech for 6 MRI units.My newest toy is a Siemens 3T Open Bore I love it. I love being on "The Cutting Edge".I get to learn the latest imaging teniques and teach my co-workers.(If you can't tell I love my job) My husband and I have raised our 2 beautiful daughters on a 45 foot sail boat .We have sailed to the Bahamas several times and to the Andros Islands once.We try to get away from the dock and spent the weekends at Cooks Creek(The island just North of the North bridge).I spend almost all of my free time with my family out in the boat; raising sheep; pigs and rabbits for the Volusia county Fair and the FL state Fair(These animals are not on t...(read more) |
