| About Me | After college I spent two years in Teheran and Mashad, Iran, teaching English and setting up summer schools and learning a lot and loving it. I also learned to cook. I returned after three months in Europe(fell in love with Mt. St. Michel in NOvember)to a year in NYC for my Masters, and two nights a week at the opera and many at symphony. LOVELY! In 1968 I took a job in Braintree, MA Teaching Elementary Art, followed my friend from Pittsburgh, who was to become the conductor of the Boston Symphony. Loved teaching but moved to Framingham after two years. Learned how to sail on the Charles River and then bought a horse, which became two. Had them for 35 years. Now live in Fort Point Boston in an Artist work/live studio, near the harbor. Have taken up the cello, volunteer for the BSO, which is a gas because I work at the Instrument Petting Zoos, which introduce young children to orcehstral instruments. ANY DONATIONS WELCOME! Their faces when they produce a note and change pitches is delightful. At some point I'll post a photo. I also volunteer at New England Conservatory and donate artwork to the auction for their prep school scholarships.
