Hi Everyone. We have a date for our 50th class reunion—the evening of Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the Elks Lodge, Lakeville Rd., NHP (exact time TBD). Cost per person will be under $100 including: a 4 hour party; the rental of the hall; a buffet dinner; beer/wine/soda/coffee; and gratuities. There will be a CASH bar available if anyone wants to order other types of drinks. There are several hotels within 4-5 miles in Carle Place/Westbury. In the next few weeks, we will be have a dedicated website that you can go to for all information about the reunion including specific details, who's attending, payment, local hotel links, a school tour on Saturday morning if anyone is interested, etc. So, look for our posts/updates.
If you are interested in attending, think you might like too, aren't sure, or just want more details, please contact me by email with your information as soon as possible so that we can better estimate the number of people attending (we are already at a minimum of 50). If you are on Facebook and haven't already, please ask to join our class page, “New Hyde Park Memorial Class of 1973 Group”. If you are on classmates.com you can respond there as well (click on the reunion tab in the my classmates tab). If you don't plan on attending, we'd like to hear from you anyway, so that at least we know we were able to reach you. After the reunion there will be class directory -- if you'd like to be included (or not) please let us know that as well. And, if you are still in contact with anyone else from our class who might not be on social media (or have their email address), please pass the word! Thanks!
