1977-1981, Bootcamp at MCRD, San Deigo, duty station was Camp Lejuene, NC. 3 1/2 years with 2nd BN/ 8th Marines at Camp Geiger, Camp Lejuene, NC. Did 3 Mediterrean Sea tours with the US 6th Fleet.
