Class of 1968
Random: Gary Wiezorek and I got caught walking from the Willow Brook track down South St. to NBHS. We both should have been in school. Coach Irving Black caught us playing hookey. Next:Jeff Norton and I got caught by Coaches Irving Black and Jerry Neipp walking at a freshmen cross-country meet in.Hartford. We were so far ahead and outta sight of the opponents, walking seemed a good idea, until we got caught. BTW: NBHS had a bunch of runners/tracksters that were way above average. NBHS was considered a powerhouse in both cross-country and track and field.
