Acushnet – Theresa A. (Martin) Hardin, 55, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 22, 2012.
Ms. Hardin was born in Goffstown, NH and resided in Acushnet most of her life. She was employed as a substance abuse counselor by Stepping Stone Inc. of New Bedford. She enjoyed reading, gardening and most of all spending time with her family.
Survivors include her mother: Jane (Oliver) Martin; her father: Edward E. Martin and his wife Connie; her daughter: Nicole Hardin-Francis and her husband Andrew ; a grandson: Khai Francis; a sister: Danielle Barksdale and her husband Donald; a brother: James Martin; 2 nieces: Lori-ane Lavoie and Melissa L. Westgate and her husband Gary; a nephew: Talon J. Lavoie; a grand nephew: Carter L. Westgate: a special aunt: Ruth Barksdale; and a special uncle: Joseph Souza; and dear friend Pat Avila.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 764 Hathaway Road, New Bedford.
