Cindy A. (Rebello) Opozda, 22, of
128 Arlington St., New Bedford, died
yesterday after a long illness. She
was the wife of Thomas Opozda.
She died at University Hospital in
Boston.
She was born in New Bedford and
raised in Acushnet. She was a com-
municant of St. F r a n c i s X a v i e r
Church in Acushnet.
Mrs. Opozda was employed as a
clerk at the Red Cross.
Survivors include her widower; a
daughter, Kristine L. Opozda of
New Bedford; her parents, John and
Shirley (Grimes) Rebello of Acush-
net; and her maternal grand-
mother, Elizabeth Grimes of
Wareham.
