Obituary for John A. Dupuis Jr.
John A. Dupuis Jr., 59, of Fall River, passed away suddenly, on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at his home. He was the husband of seventeen years to Cynthia S. Magno.
John was born in New Bedford, the son of Elsie (Falcon) Dupuis of New Bedford, and the late John A. Dupuis Sr. He was a graduate of New Bedford High School, and then worked for Johnson and Johnson as a production manager for twenty years, retiring in 2001.
While working for Johnson and Johnson, John continued his education and earned a bachelors degree. He was an avid Raiders, Dodgers, and Bruins fan, who also enjoyed working in his yard, and golfing. Mr Dupuis also cherished the time he spent with family and friends, and loved his pets.
Survivors besides his wife and mother are his beloved daughter; Jennifer Hernandez of New Bedford; a grandson Evan; two brothers David Dupuis of Fall River; Michael Dupuis and his wife Cathy of Fall River, along with several nieces and nephews.
His family will receive relatives and friends, on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, from 9am-10am, in the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson Street, Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian burial, at 11am, in Good Shepherd Church, 1598 South Main Street, Fall River.
Following cremation, a burial will follow at Rural Cemetery, in New Bedford.
