About Me	Michael E. Headley, Sergeant United States Air Force, served his country during the Vietnamm war from 1968 to 1971 in supply chain and logistics Mike was born in 1948 in Omaha Nebraska. Mike volunteered for the US Air Force and attended basic training in San Antonio Texas. He went to material facilities specialist training in Amarillo Texas. In 1969 he was transferred to Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis New Mexico. Cannon AFB is home to Air Force Special Operations Command’s 27th Special Operations Wing. Mike was transferred to Anderson Air Force Base in Guam in 1970. Andersen is home to the 36th Wing, Air Mobility Command's 734th Air Mobility Support Squadron, Mike was discharged from the Air Force in December 1970. He returned home to Nebraska and attended Peru State College and Northwest Missouri State. He is married to his high school sweetheart Betty Madsen on July 6, 1968. Mike and wife Betty moved to Houston Texas in 1974 and enjoyed a long and successful career in the oil and gas business.
