MR. MANN PAST AWAY OCT. 31,200 IN CALIF
MR MANN CAME TO NARBONNE IN THE FALL OF 1967 HE REBUILT THE AG PROGRAM FROM THE GROUND UP. WE FORMED A FFA CHAPTER I WAS A CHARTER MEMBER AND A OFFICER.
IF I DID NOT HAVE HIM I MITE HAVE LEFT H.S.
I HELLD TWO JOBS IN THE AG. AREA FOR 3.5 YEARS. SAW THE FIRST GRIL COME INTO THE ALL MAIL GROUP.
AFTER HIGH SCHOOL I GAVE A YEAR OF SERVICE TO THE PROGRAM WITH OUT PAY. IN 1973 I WAS ONE OF 2 TEACHER ADES.
IN MY LIFE THGE THINGS I LERND STAID WITH ME. WORKING WITH MR. MANN AND OTHERS I WAS GLAD TO BE CALLED A FAMER. IN 1970 FOR THE FIRST TIME WE HAD A WATING LIST. TO GET INTO THE PROGRAM.
OUR AG DEPT. MADE MONEY WICH OTHER DEPTS DID NOT HAVE WE WERE ABLE TO FUND OUR SELVES. THAT WITH THE GRILES OF TWO FLOWERL CLASS WE WERE TO MAKE WHAT WAS GROWN IN AND OUT SIDE SCHOOL.
NON OF THE WOULD HAVE TAKEN PLACE WITH OUT MR. MANN AND BOYS VP JOHN SMALL AND ALL THE STAFF IN OTHER DEPTS.
