I am an AH-64D Attack Helicopter maintainer. My job is to make sure the aircraft is ready to fly at any given moment. On a day to day basis i check the helicopter for any loose wires, leaks, cracks, and do multiple types of maintenance on the aircraft, or any other problems that could harm or kill my pilots. Being a crewchief for these helicopters comes with a sense of pride and respect from my pilots and my chain of command.
