| About Me | I am originally from New York and moved to Oregon for school. I went to the University of Oregon and got my degree in Architecture. But first I went to school in NY at University of Delhi. I graduated with a degree in engineering Tech and decided to continue in Architecture and found out that Oregon was the third in the nation. I had gotten accepted to several schools including MIT, Texas A&M, Cornell, to name a few but could not afford tuition. I could afford Oregon in-state tuition if I became a citizen and since I was putting myself through school I decided to move here. I put myself through school first by working. I worked in a jewelry production facility making earrings, then by scholarships of which I received many to get through school, when I finally graduated in 1990 (it took awhile). I worked for a short time for George Mayer Architecture and Building Design and needed to move on to a more technological office. I hit into a small recession during my transition and was out of work for a while. So I found what I could, and after sometime in the construction field, then the bus conversion industry, I found the Truss Company. I also worked in the film industry for a while making models, miniatures and props for film and video: You can see some of my miniatures at http://www.landlminiaturecreations.com Also during that time I used to visit science fiction conventions in the northwest and show my art. I have many awards for these miniatures including Best of Show in Fantasy. I was featured in the Seattle Times and in my local paper about my work and had several showings in different galleries. In all that time I found my wife Patricia, and ten years later we married, bought a home, and had my daughter, DeLenn, who is now thirteen years old. I am also a sculptor and painter. As a family we enjoy going camping, fishing, and hiking when we can. And just take mostly weekend vacations more than trying to plan two weeks some where, since we always feel rushed and exhausted after our vacation. I enjoy college football and basketball better than the professional sports because college does it for the love of the game professionals do it for the money.
